Project HealthViews Colorado: Research Reports & Presentations
In Medical Anthropology (ANT355) during Spring, 2015, student groups helped with survey development; conducted interviews at Salud Family Health Centers, with members of the general community, and with acquaintances; generated research questions; entered and analyzed data; presented their results at UNC's Research Day (see photos here); and wrote up final research reports to be shared with Salud and with the general public. Many students--all of whom were undergraduates--had limited research experience and few had any clinical experience, but they rose to the task, challenged themselves, and produced reports that we hope will be useful to Salud and other clinics and healthcare providers in Colorado and beyond.
